Bluebell Industries is a Private Limited Company formed in 1997 by John Carpenter, formerly Managing Director of The English Glass Co in Leicester. Our aim is to be the No 1 manufacturer of cost effective, high quality fire polished glass lenses,pressings. Ground & polished optical components are also offered.
The manufacturing plant is located in the Midlands with close access to the M1 Motorway and both Birmingham and East Midlands Airports.

The additional capacity needed at Bluebell Industries Limited following the closure of British Optical Ltd in the UK, is now in place.
Lead times are therefore back to acceptable levels.
We now have greater pressing and grinding and polishing facilities as well as the services of the former Technical Director of British Optical Ltd, Steve Betts.
We have many tools from British Optical Ltd and welcome your enquiries for any Fire Polished Components previously supplied.
